Learn to Fence!
Try the exciting Olympic sport of fencing in our monthly start-up classes. We have fun introductory classes for all ages of men and women of all levels and physical abilities. Our start-up program teaches basic fencing behavior, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and of course the basic terminology, footwork, offensive and defensive actions, including bouting strategy with actual fencing each day. You will learn to advance and retreat, to attack and lunge, to parry riposte, and counter riposte, to execute feints and actions on the blade, and much more. You learn fencing through fun developmental games, paired drills, actual bouting. Upon Graduation from this class you receive a diploma and are prepared to join the CFA beginning-novice program!
