The CALIFORNIA FENCING ACADEMY – CFA has taught fencing to many thousands of fencers in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley since 1986. CFA is a foil club that offers all levels of programs for complete beginners to elite world class athletes.
The CFA Coaches have produced endless youth to senior men and women elite US “A-Rated” fencers in all three weapons the foil, epee, and saber. These have included a very long list of National Champions and National Championship teams, Junior Olympic Champions and Team Finalists, US World Team members, World Championship top eight placements, and an Olympic silver medal, not to mention almost every one of our athletes being accepted to about every elite University around the country. The CFA staff is made up of International Elite Fencing Masters including Head Coaches Daniel and Ania Tibbetts, CFA Associate Coaches and Masters, Provost-at-Arms Assistant Team Coaches, and numerous USFCA Certified Junior Assistant Coaches. All Cal Sports Club Instructors in fencing, archery, and horsemanship are formally trained and certified, first aide certified, TB tested, DOJ background checked, and Safe Sport educated and certified.
